1978 Piper Seneca II

Intercooled 220 hp Conversion with TSIO-360KB Continental Factory Remans (Seneca III engines)



This Seneca II has recently come out of a $150,000 restoration which included two Continental factory reman TSIO-360KB engines (See pictures below), the same engine model installed on the Seneca III.  New intercoolers and accessories were installed, along with the STC to allow the Seneca II to fly with the 220 hp rating of the Seneca III.  All baffling was powdercoated and new blue flex baffling installed. New lord engine mounts were installed.  Both engine mounts were removed, cleaned, inspected, repainted and reinstalled. All firewall hardware and grommets replaced with new. New vacuum pumps and EGT probes were installed. New fuel flow transducers were installed.   These engine installations are gorgeous!

All new glass was installed including a new one-piece windshield from Kosola and Assoc. New Lopresti wingtips with integrated landing lites and pulse lite systems were installed. New cabin door seals were installed.  Stabilator tips were replaced with new. New wing root seals were installed. Paint was completely stripped and redone with new fasteners.  Stabilator bushings and bearing were replaced with new. Stabilator trim barrel and bearing were replaced.  New tires and brakes were installed. All new landing gear hardware and bearings were installed. New gear door hinges installed.  A freshly overhauled ceramic heater was installed. All new cabin insulation installed. New interior in taupe leather is currently being installed.

N3045M is based at the Boulder Municipal Airport in Boulder, Colorado, where it is for sale by owner and can be viewed by appointment.

Paint and Interior:
Recent new paint done in base white with navy blue and burgundy accents. New hardware and many new seals and tips done in conjunction with paint.


Interior is currently being refurbished, to be done in taupe leather including carpet and side panels. All cabin insulation was recently replaced with new.
