1958 Piper Comanche 250 (PA24-250)

N5242P is one of the nicest Piper Comanches in the fleet. This plane shows the tremendous amount of love and money invested throughout the years.  Although she was born in 1958, this Comanche is equipped as though it was manufactured in 2002.  This is a very competent cross-country plane, with 5 hour + endurance, fully coupled Stec Auto-pilot, and a multifunction display showing charts, weather and terrain.  The IFR certified GPS will get you where you want to go, and the custom-lit Ron and John's metal panel kit puts all the instruments where they belong in a modern panel.

This plane is based at Boulder Municipal Airport in Colorado, is for sale by owner, and is available for viewing by appointment.

Paint and Interior

Beautiful modern paint was recently redone - this aircraft was chemically stripped down to the original 1958 laquer and then non-chemically removed to preserve the zinc-chromate corrosion proofing. Glass is recent and in excellent condition with a one-piece windshield.

Interior was recently redone in dark grey leather and patterned wool,  and is in excellent condition.
